    • simple aspect - the action, event, or condition is incomplete (indefinite) and includes the following:

      • simple present

      • simple future

    • perfect aspect - the action, event, or condition is complete (definite) and includes the following: 

      • past perfect

      • present perfect

      • future perfect

    • progressive aspect - the action, event, or condition is continuing and includes the following: 

      • past progressive

      • present progressive

      • future progressive

    • perfect progressive aspect - the action, event or condition is continuing and then is complete and includes the following: 

      • past perfect progressive

      • present perfect progressive

      • future perfect progressive
