Well as they say welcome to Asia. Discrimonataion is just part of the package here.
You would think in an increasingly globalized world this kind of nonsense would stop. I am 53
years old and have over 20 years experince. I am currently teaching in Guangzhou China where I have taught all age groups. I am also African American oopps double whammy. Like the old song says we shall overcome... Bur seriously for the most part I have had a good time just remember the the thinking over hear seems a little crazy. I have been told that I am paid less money than white or younger teachers because they are more charming. Then I have been told the opposite. These people only recently joined the human race give them time. Or as the good book says forgive them for they know not what they do.
