We are currently accepting applications for jobs in Hong Kong to teach within the Hong Kong public school system. These positions are unique and are offered only through the Hong Kong Education Bureau within the local Chinese primary and secondary schools. This is an opportunity to gain international teaching experience while getting immersed into the Chinese culture in an English speaking environment.

BASIC BENEFITS

Start Dates: December 2008

End Date: August 2010

Location: All across Hong Kong

Student Level: Elementary & Secondary School Jobs

Working Hours: 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday

Monthly Salary: HK$21,820 to HK$45,970 (approx. $2,850 - $6,000)/month

Housing: Housing Allowance of HK$12,950/month (approx. $1,667/month)

Flight: Roundtrip air reimbursed upon arrival to Hong Kong for up to 5 persons in immediate family

Vacation: National holidays, summer vacation (flexible, determined by school)

Medical Insurance: Allowance for Family Health Care

Additional Benefits: Bonus Pay, Retention Bonus, Cash Advances on Salary

QUALIFICATIONS

- University Undergraduate Degree (any discipline), BA in English preferred
- Certified Teacher
- Native English Speaker
- TESOL, TEFL, TESL Certification
