March/April Public School positions in Jeolla

Greetings Teachers,

This is Shane Finnie from Canadian Connection ( www.canconx.com ). We are an educational consulting agency based out of Toronto which recruits teachers for ESL positions in public schools, private institutes, and companies. We are currently looking for a number of teachers to work in public schools starting in March and April.

General conditions are listed below but feel free to contact us with any specific questions.

A) South Jeolla Province Public Schools (http://english.jeonnam.go.kr/)

Job Conditions
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 5:00
Classroom Hours: 20 to 22 teaching hours per week.
Vacation: 20 or 25 working days (depending on program/location) + national
holidays
Salary: 1,900,000 to 2,400,000 Korean won per month depending on
qualifications and location
(Most teachers will also have a chance to earn some extra money through
teacher training workshops and/or student camps during the year)
Settlement Allowance: 300,000 Won
Severance Bonus: 1 month salary
School Type: Elementary, Junior High, and High School
Housing: non-shared housing supplied, schools pay rent, teachers cover util.
Airfare: roundtrip supplied (Teachers pay for one way airfare to Korea and
are reimbursed during the first month. Teachers are then provided with a one
way ticket home at the end of the contract)
Start dates: mid April (starting with a 9 day orientation in Gwangju city)
Contract Length: 1 year with option to renew
Locations: various cities and towns throughout the province

B) Incheon Metropolitan city Public Schools (http://english.incheon.go.kr/)

Job Conditions
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 5:00
Classroom Hours: 22 teaching hours per week.
Vacation: 14 working days + national holidays and additional 2 weeks
home leave if you stay for a second year
Salary: 1,800,000 to 2,300,000 Korean won per month
(Most teachers will also have a chance to earn some extra money through
teacher training workshops and/or student camps during the year)
Settlement Allowance: 300,000 Won
Severance Bonus: 1 month salary
School Type: Elementary, Junior High, and High School positions
