ENGLISH - MATH TEACHING POSITION IN BOLIVIA

Cochabamba School Center – TITO’S PLACE is seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic, full time Math Teacher 7th to 12 th Grades. Contract starts from February 06th , 2008 and ends December 6th , 2008.
Cochabamba School Center – TITO’S PLACE is a private English speaking school located in Cochabamba – Bolivia.. The school stages are Kindergarten, Elementary and High School Levels. The school was established in 1989 to serve the local community who are seeking advanced education and language skills.
Since 1991, the school has expanded very quickly. The number of students in 1990 was 34, while last academic year it was 200. The school grows with its pupils, to keep the reputable standard and level of education that the school achieved among its peers. Our success comes from the open-minded mentalities of the directors, the discipline, and the diverse enthusiastic staff.
The teacher/pupil ratio is very high to assure comprehensive education, and to facilitate to those children, who are selected, a better academic future and language proficiency
Last academic year, we had 4 foreign teachers (Americans, Canadians, and British). The different ideas, skills, and cultures are welcomed to enhance and motivate the students to study the English language, which is the first language in the school beside Spanish. The students study all sciences in English starting from the early years.

Qualifications:
• Native Speaking English Teachers.
• Excellent communicative skills with children
• Responsible and committed
Working Conditions
• US$ 6000 contract for 10 months. Said amount would be divided into monthly payments.
• Saturday off.
• Working hours 8:15 AM – 3:30 PM
• Free daily transportation to and/or from school
• Approx. 21 days of paid vacation.
• Paid public holidays.
• The equivalent to one way ticket (Miami-Cochabamba) will be refunded at the end of the first work year (200 days).
• Health insurance provided
• The one year working visa is not included, but we will help providing all documentation required. The cost of said visa is +/- US$ 350.oo
