Teaching University Students
1. Full-time Lecturer or assistant professor, teaching 10 to 12 hours at least per week as the local faculty; signing one-year contract at the first year and two-year contract at the second year;

2. Part-time Lecturer or assistant professor, teaching 4 hours per week with one-year contract;

3. Teaching such courses as Translation or Interpretation, English composition, Oral skills, or any professional courses related to TESOL;

4. Without certificate of lecturer or assistant professor, applicants need to submit degree thesis for assessment.

Faculty Position Announcement (for Native English Speakers only) The Department of Children English Education at National Taipei University of Education, Taiwan, invites applications for a full time position at the rank of Instructor or higher. Appointment begins on August 1, 2008.

The successful candidate must be a native English speaker holding a master degree (Ph. D preferable) in one of the following areas: 1) TESOL, 2) Translation. She or he should have a solid scholarly agenda and documented teaching experience and be able to teach undergraduate courses in her/his areas of specialization as well as language skill courses. Chinese communicative competence is preferable.

Applications should include a CV with a cover letter (including lists of publications and university level courses taught), abstracts of the dissertation and recent works, samples of syllabi or lesson plans, a photocopy of degree diploma, a photocopy of instructor certificates (if available), and two letters of recommendation.
